John Bartholomew

John Bartholomew is the Secretary and Treasurer for Decatur First. Prior to joining the Church Council, he was a member of the Engage Team. He is a partner at an Atlanta-area law firm where he practices primarily in the areas of complex litigation and class actions. He has a special interest in affordable housing, and spent the first several years of his career as a housing rights lawyer at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, a civil legal non-profit dedicated to equal access to justice.  Outside of church he enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music, hiking, and volunteering as a mock trial coach at a local high school.
