Here at Decatur First we offer services and programs to support the whole person and family. We also have a tremendous outreach of care and comfort for members and those in need in times of personal crisis. We also have groups and activities to uplift and engage the mind and spirit. Open Hand

Location: Decatur First, kitchen (volunteers)        When: Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm

Open Hand prepares, packs and delivers healthy meals daily throughout metro-Atlanta for those who might otherwise go without. Call Volunteer Services at 404-872-2707 with any questions or go to for more information.


Elderly Care Support

Location: Decatur First, Library        When: Fourth Sunday of the month, 9:30am to 10:30am

Assists caregivers of the elderly or chronically ill with reliable information, referrals & support.


Divorce Care for Adults

DivorceCare is for adults going through a divorce or separation. Seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help.
