9AM: We offer a simple 45 minute service in the Sanctuary. This service is informal and geared for our families, so come in your t-shirts and enjoy!
11AM: Our traditional Worship service is live-streamed and features music from the Organ and Chancel Choir. If you worship with us, sign in using our connect card.

Christmas Concert
December 14, 4pm, Sanctuary
Christmas is coming and that means our annual Christmas concert is just around the corner! This concert will include beloved music of the Advent and Christmas seasons, led by the ukulele, children, youth, adult, and bell choirs. This concert is free and open to the community. Childcare provided.
Service of the Longest Night
December 21 at 6pm
The holidays can be hard, so this intimate service focuses on the light and dark parts of life. We hope you will join us in observing the longest night of the year.
Christmas Eve Eve Service
December 23 at 6pm
This service mirrors our traditional Christmas Eve candlelight worship but features acoustic music in place of choir and strings and will be in the Chapel on Sycamore. It’s perfect for those traveling or unable to attend on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve Services
December 24 at 4:30 & 6:30pm
You are invited to a traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service with choir and strings. Nursery care will be available during the 4:30pm service. All are welcome as we celebrate the birth of Christ.
A Decatur First UMC Staff Playlist
We love this time of year, and we want to share the soundtrack to our Christmas! The Decatur First UMC staff compiled this unique playlist featuring the very best of both worlds: the deep meaning of our favorite sacred songs for Advent, and the irresistible cheer of our top secular holiday hits. It's our gift of music to you.
Breakfast with Santa
The preschool will transform into Santa's workshop on December 19 from 10am-12pm. Enjoy a continental breakfast, crafts, games and fun activities and of course meeting Santa and giving him those all important Christmas wishlists! We hope you can join us for the magical event. The preschool will be closed for this private event. Email mmurphy@decaturfirst.org to register!
