karen horace

Karen was born on the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica and moved to the United States (Lakewood NJ) in 1981. After a series of educational pitstops, in Washington DC, Brooklyn and Birmingham, she moved to Atlanta in 1994 and has attended Decatur First United Methodist since the early 2000s. Karen has been a member of this congregation since 2010.

Karen is married to Donald Horace and they are parents of 2 kind daughters, Alyssa and Amelie. Professionally, Karen is periodontist and a dental consultant, but since her life’s goal is to say yes as often as possible, her heart really belongs to volunteerism (ask her and see if it works!)

Karen lives on Ponce, steps away from the church. Stop by and say hi sometime!!
