Marshall Guest

Marshall Guest is the Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Communications at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), where he leads communications and co-leads public policy efforts to foster and improve the region's business climate. Joining MAC in 2014, he has focused on tax and economic development policy, worked to defend and support metro Atlanta's welcoming reputation, advocated for legislation to host major sporting events, and led other initiatives, with his responsibilities expanding over time.

 

Previously, Marshall served as Senior Policy Advisor and Press Secretary to former House Speaker David Ralston and held staff roles in the Georgia State Senate and Governor's Office.

 

A lifelong metro Atlanta resident, Marshall earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University. He is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta, Leadership DeKalb, and the Regional Leadership Institute. He also serves on the State Compensation Commission and the Invest Georgia Board.

 

Marshall and his wife, Sarah, an educator in the City Schools of Decatur, live in Decatur with their three sons, Griffin, Worth, and Archie.
