Catherine, a native of middle Georgia, holds music degrees from Indiana University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she specialized in church music through organ and choral conducting. She first felt a call to music ministry in high school after growing up in the children’s and youth choirs at Mulberry Street UMC, discovering a deep passion for connecting people through music and worship.

She has served congregations in North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, and Georgia. Catherine has previously served as Member‑At‑Large and President of the Atlanta Chapter of Choristers Guild and remains an active member of Polyphony Music for church musicians and the American Guild of Organists.

Catherine lives in Decatur with her husband, Casey, and their son, Callum.
